The flag of the city of Kami-Amakusa is white with symbol.

The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 31st 2004 by Notice No 1 and No 2.
The white flag has a green, a blue and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 天 Ama of kamiAmakusa. The green color stands for the island, the blue color for the sea and sky and the orange color for the people.
As a whole, it represents an image of the child growing vividly.
The flag proportion is 2 : 3.
The height of the emblem is 2/3 height of the flag.
