The flag of city of Sasebo is white with mark. In 2005 the city absorbed the
towns of Sechibaru and Yoshii, in 2006 the towns of Kozasa and Uku, and in 2010
the towns of Emukae and Shikamachi.

The city emblem was adopted on Oct 20th 1969 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a blue city emblem in the center.
he city emblem is a stylized katakana サセボ Sasebo.

The flag of former town of Emukae is deep dark blue (?) with mark. The town
is now, from 2010, part of city of Sasebo.
