The Flag

The city flag was adopted on Apr 30 2006 by the Prefecture Notice No 97. The yellow flag charged with green and blue city emblem in the center. The flag proportion 2:3. The yellow expresses that solar power lights up Saga city and a new city is full of hopes to rise energetically. The stylized S of Saga symbolizes contact with a person and other person. The two discs represent personality to overflow and wisdom to grow up. The blue stands for sky and green for earth and rich nature of Saga city.
