The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2006 by Notice No 9 but there is no flag
law. The white flag has a green and a blue two color town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana み Mi of Miyaki in an oblong form.
The white color stands for bright winds, the green color for a development, a harmony and a health and the blue color for the culture, the wisdom and the history. It represents a future image of the town which is enveloped with rich
green ground expanding to Mt. Sefuri, an amenity and the history blessed by
River Chikugo, a comfort and a wisdom.
