The city emblem was adopted on Mar 20th 2005 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a blue city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana う U of Ukiha in a form of wings.
It represents an image of the town which is freely flying in an abundant
natural circumstances, seeking for the dream, increasing opportunities for interchange and making a leap forward to the future.
