The city emblem was adopted on Feb 11th 1961 by Notice No 4 but there is no
flag law.
The maroon flag has a white city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized katakana ナ Na of Nankoku.
The wings represent an exponential development , a solidarity, a peace
and an image of the growing city.
