The city emblem was adopted on Aug 1st 2005 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a green, a blue and a red three color city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized U of Uwajima.
The green color stands for the nature, the blue color for the sea and the sky, the red
color for the shining sun.
The red circle and the green U make a man.
