The town embelm was adopted on Jan 1st 1963 but there is no flag law.
The green flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana との Tono of Tonosho.
The circle symbolizes a reconciliation and a solidarity of the residents,
the flying bird does a dramatic development of the industrial culture of the town.
