The city emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2006 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a green, a blue and an orange three color city emblem in the center
and the kanji name in black horizontally in the lower fly.
The city emblem is a stylized M of Miyosi.
The green color stands for Mt. Tsurugi and Iya valley, the blue color for River Yoshino
and the orange circle for a concentration power.
It represents an image of the interchanging city with vivid nature and a bright people
which watches for the future to cooperate and make an exponential development.
