The flag of the city of Hofu is white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Nov 11th 1937 by Notice No 109 and the flag was
adopted on Dec 28th 1937 by Notice No 122.
The white flag has a blue city embelm in the center.
The city emblem is stylized katakana ホウフ Hofu.
The circle stands for a solidarity of the citizen and the four triangles for a power
of surge of the developing city.
The flag proportion is 2: 3.
