The city emblem was adopted on Feb 20th 1900 but no flag law.
The blue flag is charged with white city emblem in the center.
The flag proportions are 2:3.
The city emblem is composed of a stylized kanji 岡 OKA in the center
and mountains such as Ishiyama, Tenjinyama outside. It represents the limitless
development and will of the city to many aspects. The white cross symbolizes
its honesty and an infinite expanse.
