The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Sep 1st 2005 by Notice No 131.
The white flag has a green and a red two color town emblem in the center. The
town emblem is a stylized M of Misaki. The red circle stands for the sun and
full of vigor, the green color for an abundant nature of the town. It represents
an image of the town which is flying to the world and transmits information
toward the future world. The flag proportion is 2: 3.
