The city emblem was adopted on Jun 30th 2005 by Notice No 135 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue, an orange three color city emblem
in the center. The city emblem is a stylized M of Mimasaka. The green color
stands for an abundant nature, the blue color for a blue sky, the center orange
disc for the sun. It represents an image of the city which seeks for a true
fullness.
