The city emblem was adopted on Mar 31st 2005 by the Prefecture Notice No 6 but no flag law. The white flag is charged with blue city emblem in the center.
The flag proportions are 2:3. The city emblem represents 松＝ a pine needle inside and a turtleshell outside in the connection with
old castle of Mt. Kameda (turtle) in the city.
