The town emblem was adopted on Apr 8th 1965 but there is no flag law. The
blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized
kanji 川 Kawa of Kawamoto in a form of kanji 水= water as the town has been
developed with a central focus on Go River. It represents a happiness , a
solidarity and a peace.
