The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1976 but there is no flag law. The
green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a
stylized katakana ヒ Hi of Hiezu. The circle symbolizes an affinity, a solidarity
and a cooperation, the wide crossbar does a surge and a development.
