The town emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has a blue and a green two color town emblem in the
center. The town emblem depicts Mt. Daisen, a green forest and clear river
streams. It represents an image of the town which shines and makes a leap
forward to the future with its history and culture in the background.
