The village emblem was adopted in Apr 1972 but there is no flag law. The
green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a
stylized katakana カ Ka of Kamikitayama. It represents a development of the
village, a solidarity of the villagers and an everlasting friendship.
