The city emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1963 by Regulations No 6 but there is
no flag law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city
emblem is four stylized katakana ト To of Toyonaka. The four umbonal represents
an image of the city developing in all directions.
