The city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2004 but there is no flag law. The
white flag has a green and orange two color city emblem in the center. The city
emblem is a stylized kanji 甲 Ko of Koka. The green circle stands for a healthy
city where the people can live in peace. The inside of the circle symbolizes a
vigorous and brilliant city. The orange one is the people and it represents the
city features the people.

The flag of the former town of Minakuchi was blue with mark. The town is now,
from 2004, part of the city of Koka.
