The city flag was adopted on January 1st 2006 by the Municipal Notice No 1. The white flag is charged with a blue and green city emblem in the center. The flag proportions are 2:3.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana つ TSU. The green stands for earth
which is full of nature, blue for crest of wave in Ise Bay. It represents
the city is endowed naturally and has the contact of people who respect the
history and culture in full of hopes and makes a rapid progress with vitality
and brightness to the future.
