The city emblem was adopted on Mar 31st 1966 by Notice No 51 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has a blue city emblem in the center. The horizontal
figure stands for a peace, the circle for a peaceful town administration and the
chavron for a progress. It represents a peaceful development of the merged towns
and villages.

The flag of the former village of Jushiyama was blue with mark. The village
is now, from 2006, part of the city of Yatomi.
