The flag of the city of Kariya is white with green or red mark.

he city emblem was adopted on Oct 26th 1951 by Notice No 24 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has a green city emblem in the center. The figure 8 and
kanji 雁= a goose become the city symbol since they pronounce Kariya. The figure
8 is similar to a fan shape which represents a progress and a surge.
