The city emblem was adopted on Apr 29th 1941 but there is no flag law. The
green flag has a white city emblem in the center. The outline of corner cutoff
originated from the crest of Mishima Shrine and makes Mt. Fuji form. The three
lines inside represents waterflow and kanji 三 Mi of Mishima.
