The village emblem was adopted in Oct 1970 but there is no flag law. The blue
flag has a red village emblem with white fimbriation in the center. The
village emblem is a double of stylized hiragana み Mi of Minamimaki. It
represents the village’s rapid progress and the development in a form of flying
bird.
