The city emblem was adopted on mar 27th 1952 by Notice No 9. There is no flag
law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is
composed of a circle and two sharp triangles. The first one stand for Tsuryga
Bay and the second one for a light house. As a whole it represents a future
growth of Tsuruga harbor city.
