The town emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 1880 but there is no flag law. The
blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized
hiragana せ Se of Seiro. It represents a peace, a concord and a harmonization
which are essential for surviving in a wide world.
