The town emblem was adopted on Apr 15th 1967 but there is no flag law. The
white flag has a blue town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized
katakana ラン Ran and kanji 山 Zan. It represents a spirit of the town people who
cooperates to promote a development of a clear and bright garden city and a
reconciliation, a development of the town.
