The village emblem was adopted on Sep 1st 1967 by Notice No 12 but there is
no flag law. The white flag has a red village emblem in the center. The village
emblem is a stylized hiragana ひ HI of Higashichichibu in a form of a bird flying
to the future. It represents an image of the village which is developing.
