The flag of the city of Shibukawa is purple with mark. I found too variants
of flag colors.

They say a purple flag is an official city flag.
The city emblem was adopted on Feb 20th 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag
law. The purple flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a
stylized S of Shibukawa in form of Mt. Akagi, Mt. Haruna and Tone River. The
center circle symbolizes a vigor, a power of concentration and a navel of Japan,
middle of Japan. It represents an image of the city which is full of calm and
contact and watch the future and cooperate with each other for a development.
