The city emblem was adopted on Nov 3rd 1959 but there is no flag law. The
blue flag has a white city emble in the center. The city emblem is a stylized
katakana ナカ Naka in form of wings and a circle. The wings stand for a surge of
the city, the circle for a peace of the citizen and the city administration.

The flag of the former town of Urizura was blue with mark. The town is now,
from 2005, part of the city of Naka.
