The city emblem was adopted on Mar 28th 2005 by Regulation No 1 but there is
no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue and a white three color city
emblem in the center. The city emblem represents a development of the city which
has been grown by Mt. Tsukuba and rivers and lives together with nature. The
ceremonial blue flag has a yellow city emblem in a white disc and yellow fringe.
