The village emblem and the flag were adopted on Aug 11th 1977
by Ordinance No 21.
The green flag has a white village emblem towards hoist.
The village emblem is a stylized katakana カワ Kawa of Kawauchi.
It represents a reconciliation and a solidarity of the villagers
and a steady development of the town.
The flag proportion is 2 :3.
The length of the emblem is 30/75 of the length of the flag.
