The town emblem was adopted in 1965 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag
has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is stylized katakana コオリ Kori.
The bird symbolizes a conformity and a soar of the town
and hiragana こ Ko of Kori does Mt. Handa in the town.
