The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 1966 but there is no flag law.
The green flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is stylized katakana カ Ka in the upper part and kanji 山 Yama in the lower part.
It represents an image of the town people who is positively promoting town development with a reconciliation
of the people.
