The flag of the town of Yamanobe is purple or blue with mark.

The town emblem was adopted on Nov 3rd 1972 by Notice No 19
but there is no flag law.
The purple flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana や Ya of Yamanobe.
It represents a wish for a peace and a solidarity of the town
and an exponential development from an affinity.
Yamanobe Town General Affairs Section confirmed they use only a purple flag at the hall.
