The town emblem was adopted on Nov 27th 1962 by Notice No 22 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a green town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized kanji 小 O of Oguni in a form of a hawk.
The chevron symbolizes Mt. Iide, the circle does a concord of the towners.
It represents a breath of the young town.
