The town emblem was adopted in Oct 1969 but there is no flag law.
The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is stylized katakana オエ Oe.
The circle symbolizes a reconciliation, a solidarity , a happiness of the towners
and an unlimited surge and a bright future of the town.
