The flag of the city of Obanazawa is blue-purple (?) with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 1990 and the flag was adopted
on Apr 1st 2009 by Notice No 74.
The bluish purple flag has a white city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized katakana オ O of Obanazawa.
It represents a conformity and an exponential development of the city.
The flag proportion is 2: 3.
The diameter of the emblem is 3/5 the height of the flag.
The law says the color of the flag field shoud be a bluish purple.
