The city emblem was adopted on Dec 18th 1972 by Notice No 223
but there is no flag law.
The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana かづの Kazuno.
It represents a reconciliation, a solidarity, a happiness,
and a peace of the growing city.
