The town emblem was adopted on May 16th 1961 by the Notice No 3 but no flag
law.
The dark purplish blue flag charged with the white town emblem in the center.
The flag proportion 2 : 3.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana む MU in a spiritual mountain form. It
represents the harmony of the town people and permanently developing town.
