Karakuwa Town (merged by Kesennuma City on
Mar 31st 2006).
The former town flag was green field charged with the white town emblem in the
center. The flag proportion 2 : 3.

The katakana character for“Karakuwa”カラクワ has been stylized to symbolize the harmony among the townspeople and the town’s boundless growth.
