The city emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 1959 by the Notice No 1 but no flag
law.
The green flag charged with the white emblem in the center. The flag proportion
2 : 3.
The city emblem is a stylized katakana カ KA. The cotyledon inside represents the
city is growing quickly and healthily.
