The city emblem was adopted on Dec 18th 1960 by the Notice No 16
but no flag law.
The green flag charged with the white city emblem in the center.
The flag proportion 2 : 3.
The city emblem is a stylized kanji 岩 IWA.
The open form towards to the top expresses the leap development
of the city.

The flag of the city of Iwanuma is darker green for me.

I sent two different green imeges to Iwanuma City general affairs section who
confirms they use a lighter shade of green flag. So no need to replace the
image.
