The flag of the city of Kamaishi is blue or white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on May 5th 1937 but
there is no flag law.
The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center.
The city emblem depicts a stone boiler = kamaishi in the center
surrounded by a coastal breakwater and an iron and a steel.
It represents Port Kamaishi, a city of steel industry and the
promotional development of the city.
Kamaishi City General Affairs section says they use a blue
official flag at the city hall building and the white flag with a red emblem
is variant.
