The town emblem was adopted on Aug 4th 1971 by Notice No 79
but there is no flag law.
The green flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized katakana カナ Ka and Na.
It represents merged in 1955 Kanegasaki town and Nagaoka village
