The town emblem was adopted in Sep 1970 but there is no flag law.
The blue flag has a red and a yellow two color town emblem in the center
and the kanji name in white horizontally at the bottom.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana よ Yo of Yokohama.
The two circles symbolize a peace, a solidarity and a happiness,
the upper point does an unlimited exponential development to the future.
