The flag of the town of Tohoku is white with mark.

The town emblem was adopted on Sep 2nd 2005 by Notice No 36
but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a green, a red and a blue three color town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana とうTo of Tohoku.
The green color stands for the ground, the center red circle for a harmony,
a monument of center Japan and an abundant of the culture,the blue color
for the contact point of Lake Ogawara with Pacific Ocean, the northeastern location
, hopes and a saltation.
