Nozomi Kariyasu, 27 November 2014
Thanks to Mr. Kariyasu here is the flag of the town of Itayanagi.
Tomislav Šipek, 10 December 2014
The town emblem was adopted on Jan 5th 1965 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law.
The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized katakana イ I of Itayanagi in a form of
an apple as a local speciality.
It represents the town’s exponential development and the town people’s reconciliation and
solidarity.
