The flag of the city of Hachinohe was white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Aug 27th 1931
but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a red city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a combination of a stylized kanji 八戸 Hachinihe
with the former Nanbu Domain crest facing two cranes.
